No matter how successful we are, sometimes we may sabotage ourselves so it can take more than "trying harder" or exerting "will power" to break free. Changing conscious beliefs doesn't always work because the underlying causes of self-sabotage are often rooted in our unconscious.
It is crucial to provide an empathic, nurturing, and caring relationship to support you to safely access your unconscious at your own pace. I believe the foundation for successful psychotherapy is the quality of our relationship. Our relationship allows you to be deeply seen, heard, and felt and to help hold the all of the feelings you are experiencing. This facilitates deeper self-reflection and insight. By supporting your truth and challenging what isn't working, I can help you understand the underlying causes of your issues and accelerate your progress.
I practice psychodynamic psychotherapy. My approach emphasizes understanding your earlier life experiences, your most important relationships, and your feelings in the present moment. I can help you tune into your bodily experiences so you can safely release anxiety, trauma, fear, or anger. Unlocking these blocked feelings can free you from unconscious patterns of self-defeat.
My Practice & Services
In addition to psychodynamic psychotherapy,I have developed two unique specialty areas I weave into therapy as it may benefit you: Empathy Training and Psychology of Money. Empathy Training is an accelerated approach to learning verbal and nonverbal empathy which enhances your ability to communicate and to understand others. Psychology of Money teaches how to strengthen your mindset with money by uncovering hidden beliefs and feelings that may be blocking financial success and by showing you how to increase prosperity thinking.
